Apprenticeship Opportunities
The International Masonry Training and Education Foundation (IMTEF) plays a crucial role in the training and education of BAC members. IMTEF provides in-depth, quality training across all trowel trades, ensuring that members are well-prepared for their careers. Some of the benefits of apprenticeship programs include:
Hands-on Training: Apprentices receive practical, on-the-job training from experienced craftworkers.
Classroom Instruction: In addition to hands-on experience, apprentices attend classes to learn the theoretical aspects of their trade.
Earn While You Learn: Apprentices are paid for their work, allowing them to earn a wage while gaining valuable skills.
Career Advancement: Completing an apprenticeship can lead to journeyman status and opens the door to further career opportunities within the union.
