Founded in January 2008, we began in a small building with leaky ceilings, bundled in warm clothing and burning kerosene lamps to stay warm. Our dedication to quality auto service drove us to walk through waist-deep snow daily to reach our office.

In autumn 2011, we took a bold step forward, closing our doors temporarily for a much-needed renovation. The result was a fully modernized facility—complete with insulation, heated floors, and central air. Equipped with the latest technology, our team has been able to provide top-notch repairs and customer service in a comfortable environment.

October 2023 marked the start of an exciting new chapter as we expanded into another county. We purchased the historic Don Dickey’s Garage in Mill Hall from Donny and Dave. While we’ve made great strides at the new location, there’s still work ahead to bring it to the level of our Port Matilda shop.

As we continue to grow, our commitment to providing great customer service and top-notch auto repairs remains at the heart of everything we do.

With over 20 years of combined customer service experience and 48 years of combined technical expertise, our team brings a wealth of knowledge. Starting from high school auto tech programs, summer jobs, dealership training, and college degrees, we have built a foundation of excellence. We never stop training, ensuring you receive the most up-to-date customer service and repairs.

Our shop is equipped with state of the art diagnostic equipment. We are constantly getting additional training and practice, which is provided by our local part suppliers/vendors and schools. Our shop has access to all specialized software, which helps us diagnose and provide accurate repairs and services for any vehicle make and model. Software such as AllData, Identifix, Snap-on, Mitchell1 and more, all help us to properly diagnose and determine the time required to complete the work at hand.

At Absolute Auto, we offer professional repairs, recommendations, and service for every vehicle. With every service, we provide a FREE vehicle checkup to inform customers about the longevity of their car or truck. Our comprehensive services include PA state inspections and emissions, OBDII tests, air conditioning and heating, engine services, repairs and diagnostics, and oil changes for vehicles of all sizes and ages. We also handle drive belts, timing belts, water pumps, intake gasket and head gasket replacements, tune-ups for newer and older vehicles, and electrical, charging, and starting diagnostics/repairs. Our expertise extends to brakes and suspension repair, noise diagnostics, tire mounting, balancing, and repair, including low-profile tires, advanced wheel balancing, and exhaust and catalytic converter replacement.
