Your speaker will be a doctorate level Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Licensed Behavior Specialist who owns Garner Behavior Services (GBS).

GBS is an IBHS-ABA facility in Pennsylvania. Often, students do not know of or understand this type of career path. At GBS, we provide 1:1 therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The therapy is very intensive and is based in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Working in this field is not just a job, but a career choice.  One must have a love of working with children with special needs, work well as a team, and be able to follow instructions and guidance from the clinical lead.

Your speaker, Dr. Garner, has built the company from scratch, doing billing, hiring, marketing, and of course therapy. She was an Assistant Professor at PSU for 10 years instructing courses in applied behavior analysis. She has presented and trained staff internationally.

Dr. Garner has been local to central PA and loves sharing her love of autism and ABA with others.
