The YMCA offers high school students the opportunity to participate in a job shadow experience to explore careers in a community-focused environment. This experience allows students to observe YMCA staff in action and gain a better understanding of day-to-day responsibilities in areas such as youth programs, wellness, and facility operations.
During a job shadow, students will follow a YMCA staff member and learn how they support programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This is a great way to see what it’s like to work at the Y while asking questions and learning directly from professionals.
What You’ll Do:
