Co-op
Power Your Future: Electrician Co-Op Program

Dietz Electric offers a paid Co-Op opportunity for high school students who want hands-on experience in the electrical trade. Students work alongside electricians on real job sites, learning how electrical systems are installed and maintained in commercial, industrial, and construction settings. This Co-Op allows students to explore a high-demand career, build practical skills, and gain valuable workplace experience while still in school. It’s an excellent opportunity for students who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and learning outside of a traditional classroom.

As an Electrician Helper at Dietz Electric, you’ll work alongside experienced electricians on real commercial, industrial, and construction projects. This entry-level opportunity allows students and career explorers to learn through hands-on experience while assisting with installing and maintaining electrical systems. You’ll gain exposure to wiring, conduit, panels, and fixtures while learning to safely use tools, read blueprints, and follow electrical safety standards. Along the way, you’ll build valuable skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and workplace safety. Electricians are in high demand, offering strong pay, job stability, and a rewarding hands-on career that helps power homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses every day.
