A CO-Op experience with David M. Maines & Associates, Inc. & Maines Roofing provides high school students with the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience in the commercial roofing industry. Students work alongside experienced professionals to learn about roofing materials, installation techniques, safety procedures, and the daily operations of a construction job site. Through this experience, students develop valuable workplace skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and responsibility while exploring career pathways in the skilled trades. The CO-Op program allows students to apply what they learn in school to real projects, helping them build confidence, technical knowledge, and a strong foundation for future careers.
