Our Mission: Empower and support Pennsylvania Dairy families and businesses to thrive.

The Center for Dairy Excellence will be the one-stop shop for strengthening the Pennsylvania dairy industry through providing:
Needed resources and programs to strengthen individual dairy farm family businesses; and
Positive outreach to the dairy industry, consumers, the media and policy makers on the value the dairy industry brings to Pennsylvania and the resources needed for ongoing viability.

CDE will accomplish its goals of establishing itself as the “central dairy resource organization” in Pennsylvania, growing participation in its programs, and growing milk volume and profitability of Pennsylvania’s dairy industry.

The Center for Dairy Excellence offers a Dairy Laborer Pre-Apprenticeship (unpaid) for high school students in Grades 11 and 12 and a Dairy Herd Manager Apprenticeship (paid) for high school graduates over 18 years old.
