Cherished Cats Rescue Alliance is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating cats and kittens in need and helping place them in safe, loving homes. Through our cat café, The Scratching Post, we provide a calm, nurturing environment where our adoptable cats can thrive while connecting with the community.

We are an almost entirely volunteer-run organization, and volunteers play a vital role in making our work possible. Volunteers support this work by helping care for the cats, maintaining the café, and creating a positive experience for guests.

The Scratching Post Cat Café offers a flexible volunteer experience for students interested in animal welfare, community engagement, and nonprofit work. Student volunteers support daily operations and community engagement efforts in a unique, mission-driven environment.
