Infant Development Program, INC

Infant Development Program is a 501(c)(3) human service agency providing early intervention to children with special needs, home-based support and/or referral services to individuals of any age with disabilities, integrated preschool services to both developmentally delayed and typically developing children, and parent education and support to all families to enhance the development of children and families residing in Clinton County.

The Infant Development Program was established in 1974, in the corner of a room in the Lock Haven Hospital with five children. Currently, Infant Development Program is located at 980 East Water Street, Lock Haven and is serving many local families.
The Early Intervention Program provides services based on the individual needs of the child and family. These services are offered free of charge. Services may be provided either in a center based or home based program.
The P.A.C.T. Program, provides support and parenting skills to fathers and mothers and expecting fathers and mothers.
The Stepping Stones Preschool is a preschool for typically developing children, offering classes for 3 to 5 year old preschoolers.
The Pennsylvania Elks Home Service Project is an in home nursing service offered to persons who have developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, downs syndrome, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, speech, hearing, and visual disorders.
